Mental load is the invisible work it takes to run a household and to care for your family and loved ones.


The planning, coordinating and making sure everything gets done.


This mental load is often experienced at home and it is more common amount women and anyone who runs a household and cares for others.overtime it can lead to stress, anxiety and poor mental health.



There is this underlying expectation that you will put your needs aside to fulfill your responsibilities.Situations may not change for whatever reason but it is crucial that you become aware of how you play a role in the situation. Meaning, what can you do differently within the same situation.

REDUCE YOUR MENTAL LOAD!!!

👏 share tasks, delegate to others, effectively make decisions


😷protect your personal time and your personal needs


🧘‍♀️create habits and schedule the time for your self care



You have a choice! You can allow the mental load to consume you, creating damage to your physical, mental and emotional health, or you can take ownership and become your best advocate too



The goal is to delegate, hire or ask for help, to learn to let things be, to set and honor your boundaries and to create a sense of shared responsibility without having to ask!

This involves clear communication, and honoring your needs.
